We're thrilled to invite you to try out for the Wind N Sea Swim Team! Visit our Tryout page to sign up and see where you fit best. Once you're assigned a group, scroll down to explore what to expect—what to wear, what to bring, and what our practices are like.

 

2. Team Dues & Billing Schedule

Quarterly Billing Schedule
Our dues are billed quarterly—choose whichever works best for you:

  • Dec – Feb

  • Mar – May

  • Jun – Aug

  • Sep – Nov

Group Pricing (per quarter):

  • Novice – $405

  • White – $420

  • Red – $435

  • Blue – $510

  • Senior – $570

Annual Apparel Fee:
A one-time $150 annual fee applies at your first registration and again each subsequent year. This covers:

  • Team suit

  • Swim cap

  • Team T-shirt

Please note that you will still have to order these items (suit, cap, and T-shirt) through our team store after you pay! Email us for your site password!

3. What to Wear: Required Swim Attire

All Training Groups: proper swim attire is essential for performance and safety.

Boys:

  • Lycra or nylon briefs or jammers

  • Optional: “drag suit”

Girls:

  • One-piece lycra or nylon practice suit 

  • Optional: “drag suit”

Everyone:

  • Goggles (required)

  • Swim cap (recommended for long hair)

Quick Reminder: Two-piece suits and board shorts are not allowed for practices.

We’ll provide your one team suit and cap with the apparel package—just talk to your coach(es) if you're looking for an alternate option to feel more comfortable or confident.

4. What to Bring: Required Equipment

Pack these for every practice:

  • Novice, White:

    • Fins

    • Water bottle

  • Red:

    • Fins

    • Water bottle

    • Hand paddles

    • Front-mounted snorkel (e.g., Finis)

  • Blue & Senior:

    • Fins

    • Hand paddles

    • Front-mounted snorkel (e.g., Finis)

    • Resistance band

    • Water bottle

    • Sunscreen

    • Equipment bag
